For a growing city, that\u2019s more than an inconvenience. It\u2019s a mobility problem.<\/p>\n

And a Chhattisgarh-born platform believes it has an answer.<\/p>\n

UNTO Officially Launches in Raipur<\/h2>\n
UNTO, positioned as Chhattisgarh\u2019s first ride-sharing app, has officially launched in Raipur at Hotel Sayaji<\/strong>, marking its entry into the city\u2019s rapidly evolving urban mobility space.<\/p>\n
But the interesting part isn\u2019t simply that Raipur has another app.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s what UNTO is trying to do differently.<\/strong><\/p>\n
Instead of building an app around a single mode of transport, UNTO brings several choices under one platform:<\/p>\n
Bike Taxi. Auto. Cab. Premium Cars. Luxury Cars.<\/strong><\/p>\n
One app for the quick office commute \u2014 and potentially the same app when the occasion calls for something considerably more premium.<\/p>\n
But choice is only one part of the pitch.<\/p>\n
Could Your Next Ride Cost Less?<\/h2>\n
This is where UNTO is making one of its biggest consumer propositions.<\/p>\n
The platform says rides can potentially work out cheaper than established services such as Ola and Uber<\/strong>, depending on the ride, availability and fare offered.<\/p>\n
And then there\u2019s Ride Split<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
Instead of one passenger necessarily bearing the entire cost of a journey, ride sharing creates the possibility of splitting that journey \u2014 and potentially the expense \u2014 with others travelling along compatible routes.<\/p>\n
For passengers, the attraction is straightforward:<\/p>\n
If the journey is shared, the individual travel cost could fall further.<\/strong><\/p>\n
But UNTO\u2019s more unusual idea isn\u2019t on the passenger\u2019s screen.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s on the driver\u2019s.<\/p>\n
The Driver Doesn\u2019t Pay Commission Per Ride<\/h2>\n
Traditional ride-hailing platforms have largely grown around a familiar model: the platform facilitates a booking and earns through the transaction.<\/p>\n
UNTO is taking a different route.<\/p>\n
No per-ride commission. A subscription model instead.<\/strong><\/p>\n
More importantly, drivers can decide their own fares<\/strong>, giving them greater control over what they are willing to charge for a journey.<\/p>\n
That could change the relationship between driver, rider and platform.<\/p>\n
A passenger wants a competitive fare.<\/p>\n
A driver wants a trip that makes economic sense.<\/p>\n
UNTO is attempting to create a system where both sides have more flexibility.<\/p>\n
And if enough drivers join, there is another problem it could help address.<\/p>\n
